| Spanish Courtyard Rates: $3,500 Capacity: 142 seated / 303 standing The Spanish Courtyard, entered through a baroque arched doorway on Chestnut Street, is a beautiful location for a reception dinner, with its Moorish tiled fountain, trees and flowering shrubs, and soaring bell tower. The adjacent gallery containing Diego Rivera’s monumental mural The Making of a Fresco Showing the Building of a City is available for viewing. Roof Terrace and Amphitheater Rates: 1-200 guests—$4,000 201-547 guests—$6,500 Capacity: 139 seated / 547 standing The Roof Terrace offers sweeping views of Marin, Alcatraz, Coit Tower, and both the Golden Gate and Bay Bridges. The stepped roof of the lecture hall forms an outdoor amphitheater ideal for performances. The roof terrace may be tented for special events. Zellerbach Quad Rate: $ 4,000 Capacity: 159 seated / 341 standing The Zellerbach Quad, located just below the terrace between the Lecture Hall and Café, offers spectacular bay views and may be tented. Cafe Rates: Dining Area Only—$2,500 Entire Café—$3,500 Capacity: 85 total The Café, located next to the Zellerbach Quad, is a light-filled space with large windows and excellent views of the bay. Full kitchen is available. Lecture Hall Rate: $3,000 Capacity: 250 seated The Lecture Hall seats 250 and is equipped with theatrical lighting, state-of-the-art film and video projection, and a surround-sound system.
